MF VF-25F Armored Messiah WIP 9 part 1

alright.. i'm back for this kit again.. plenty of process done.. but still got long way to go.. got the back pack and the leg unit painted.. took four process to done all this part.. each process took about one and half hour so total about six hour use in two days for the whole painting process done for the leg and back pack.. the most tricky part will be the missile pod from the legs and the most easiest part will be the back pack unit..

this will be the inner frame for the leg.. painted with black steel again..

the back pack unit will be my favorite part.. using silver chrome, gold, dark gray mix with black and the most complicated color i use ever for the blue color.. which mix with blue gray, dark gray, black steel, black and gloss blue.. why using so much color in this combination?.. well.. the blue gray fail my expectation.. the blue gray too bright.. after adding gloss blue..still not dark enough.. then dark gray but STILL NOT ENOUGH.. go with black.. but the paint become too watery.. so.. add some black steel because i have no more black paint that not mix with thinner.. most of my paint that almost run our have mix with thinner now..

the missile pod mess up.. all due to the not enough masking tape to cover all the area..

and one last thing.. BAD NEWS!!! the part in the picture above.. should come in pair but.. i lost one of it!!!.. still can't find it.. what should i do?.. anyone can help me?..

some kind of sushi box for your paint

ok.. it is not a sushi box.. but just some box that carry the paint when the seller order their stock.. and the seller told me that they only will give customer this box when the customer purchase more than 3 bottle of paint.. i mean that small bottle..

and this is it.. the paint i bought for this month.. purposely get these for the MF VF-25F..

the thing i forgot to buy.. the surfacer.. damn.. ti'm running out of surfacer now.. zzz.

and the cost for all of this.. RM50.. that's the bad side when addicted to painting.. the cost of the kit increase because of the paint that use.. i mean the cost of buying the kit and paint for the kit together..

have you heard about a shop called "Aperture and Shutter".. well this is it.. the hidden shop behind the Canon Brand store in Low Yat UG floor.. but now.. you also can find one in Times Square first floor.. but still the Low Yat branch more perfect for DSLR.. well.. if you have an DSLR and looking for tools.. lessons.. or some tutorial.. this will be the great place to hang out.. some third party that offer high quality filters, speedlight, or some rare tools i called it.. you can find it here rather than go Jalan Pasar.. well.. this shop is in Malaysia.. KL to be exact..

damn.. i love that huge table.. it can use for assembling gunpla.. XD..

tools are not only tripod or back.. but cloth that use to protect yourself or the camera during rain.. haha

looking for lifetime warranty and high quality customizable tripod.. you can take a look on the Manfrotto..

as for bag.. the Lowepro.. of course there are many other branded bag and tripod.. but in Malaysia.. most famous brand will be these two..

it is not an normal umbrella.. it's not for rain..

but for lighting not lightning.. haha.. use as speedlight reflector i guess... normally you can found this in studio..

whole bunch of lens and body.. from the lowest to the highest.. you can even find some Minox camera here.. well.. of course not those very expensive camera from Europe and mostly are from Japan's brand.. about the price.. well. you have to ask for discount then.. haha.. the retail price are ridiculous right..

Just some update

well.. just some update.. first time doing the transformation with the armor pack on the wings done.. ergh.. so hard with such heavy wings.. and those parts that holding the chest seems not strong to support it.. and in order to have all this heavy stuff stay in position.. lot of lock needed in different mode.. i will share much soon.. sorry for the blur picture.. 

the next thing i need to do is get enough paint for it as most of the paint has been run out..  going to spend a lot for paint soon..

The foundation of seven6398

alright.. so.. i'm just realized that this blog has been 2 years old since 2008.. well.. that was the time where i'm still stick with figure.fm version 1.. but after the end of figure.fm version 1 that migrated back to Dannychoo.com.. i decided to build my own blog.. i think of using friendster.com to post all the pictures of my collection but i found that it quite messy and hard to manage.. so.. instead of using the platform of wordpress.. i choose blogspot.. well.. i think both have it's own benefits.. i choose blogspot because of following ngeekhiong.blogspot.com as my guide that time.. and i learn fast on using blogspot.. i think i have mention in some of my blog post why i took so many pictures and post it here.. well.. i don't have so much place to display all my collection but internet will be the best solution for me.. so.. the first reason for me to post out so many photos here is to display all my collection in a place which i can simply review back in anytime i want..

but blogging seems quite fun for me after that.. as i saw comments coming in.. and after i put sitemeter to track  visits.. it even encourage me more when sawing there are visitors coming in.. so.. more pictures and decoration pump in to the blog.. well.. it become a little bit messy after that.. i do give up that time when i'm addicted to the number of visit each day and it is not improving.. but after i think of the first reason that i create the blog.. and the visitors that came in.. i decided to improve my blog.. such as better navigation.. rearrange all the side bar.. make it look tidier.. invite some sponsors.. and wake myself up.. let the number of visitors be natural.. blogging is for me to share things out.. make some friends.. and to display my own collection so i can enjoy it when i want.. but have to thanks for you guys that visit, support and giving me advise to improve my skill..

so.. this is the foundation of seven6398.blogspot.com two years ago.. still using a desktop with an bulk CRT monitor.. haha.. the blue color chair?.. broke since my weight increase a lot this few years.. haha..

the table was my major problem that time.. while i use this table for study.. i also use this table for assemble the gunpla that time.. and the table was too small for me to do two task at the same time.. so..

i change to a bigger table.. more space.. but still.. old habit.. have everything on the table.. this is best i can do to make the table more tidy.. the old desktop? at the living room now.. collecting dust.. my sister give me her laptop because she plan to change a new one that time.. it was about a year ago..

and what about the box.. like in the pictures.. i have fold a lot of box and it still end up.. filling up on my table and cupboard.. my mom told me to have all the box in other house.. and my answer will always.. "i will when i have time to go there" which i seldom go there.. no one live there.. so.. only some basic furnitures there.. that explain why i seldom go there..

the three pictures above was how i display my kits two years ago.. i don't have much kit that time..

and this is the one that just updated.. having the latest MG GN-X in.. and now.. i'm started to have problem.. and the problem is.. i use to paint kits now.. and usually i won't keep my painted kit in the box as i feel the paint might easily scratch off.. so i use to display the painted kit out but as what can seen in the display shelf.. i have no idea that which one should i get it into the box next as most of them are display according to the series..

MG GN-X COMPLETE!!!

no more WIP.. no more WIP part 1, part 2, or part 3.. it's complete.. yeah.. i re-paint the whole thing..

so.. before i introduce this kit i will make a summary of this kit first.. basically i just re-paint as i mentioned above.. no extra panel line or pla-plate added.. color that use:

-Mr.color black
-Mr.color black steel (for inner frame)
-Mr.color gold
-Mr.Surfacer 1000
-Gaia Black
-Gaia red
-foil stickers
-decals

that's all for the summary.. basically i got the color scheme from tsuki.. i think he haven't finish his MG GN-X.. due to compressor's problem.. i took almost two month to complete this kit.. zzz.. well.. the exact time of finishing this kit should be left than two weeks.. since this kit done.. time to continue on the MF VF-25F..

erm.. i forget my view about this kit.. well.. this kit can be said share pretty much of the inner structure from MG Exia.. but.. it is not as well balance as MG Exia.. same as the articulation.. the proportion for every part is nice.. plenty of detail from the inner frame and most of the parts are molded separately except the vulcan on the head unit.. the biggest problem that i had from this kit is the feet.. the front part of the feet can be bend and the joint is very loose.. so.. making this kit on standing pose can be quite dangerous as it easy to fall down.. to front.. the design of the shoulders was also limit the possibility.. eventhough the long beam rifle can be quite heavy but the joint of the hand was quite strong to support it.. so.. no problem on handling the weapon.. the movement of the head unit also limited as the long face got block by the chest.. but the neck structure was pretty unique.. i guess that's all about the articulation and proportion..

alright.. i called this a HPS GN-X.. HPS.. High Power Stealth system.. the name was created base on the color scheme.. compare to normal GN-X.. the HPS GN-X was cover by the stealth technology plate armor which can absorb the wave from radar to make it invisible especially in space.. thrusters, nozzle and some interior of the weapon was using gold rather than normal type of steel to support to modified dark GN drive which can release more GN particle to improve the mobility and the fire power of this unit.. the combination of all specification give this GN-X a new system called HPS.. but due to stronger fire power and more GN particle needed to improve on mobility.. the HPS system used more GN particle from the GN drive which reduce the operating power duration of this unit.. that's all for the report..

haha.. sounds like someone from military explaining the spec of new unit.. alright.. time to enjoy the pics..
