June loot part 2

haha.. got it on yesterday..

-HG CGUE
-Injection kit Arbalest

the first two kit was in my plan for "get it".. but i saw the injection kit of arbalest and it selling for about RM 30.. so.. curious about it and get it for fun.. for such size of box.. i can't expect much but from product descriptions.. those joint are support by a lot of ball joints and it make the kit well articulated but have to paint the entire kit myself since it doesn't come with any colors..

hope the part 3 coming soon.. and these are my reason that explain why i'm broke now..

MG GN-X WIP 10 part 2

alright.. i know i have been quite slow on posting this few weeks.. well.. have handle some part time job arrangement.. and i will be free soon..

ok.. back to this kit.. continue from the part 10.. finally finish painting the inner frame.. just before my compressor went into critical condition.. currently the compressor was in comma.. have to fix it back soon..


the part that is hard to paint for me is the leg.. large.. lots of hidden surface.. glad that it went pretty well..

MG GN-X WIP 10

alright.. back to GN-X again.. this time is on the paint job for the inner frame.. still left the legs, weapon and feet to done..

well.. i was planning to use silver chrome for the frame at first.. but after seeing Sd Bashee Unicorn from Keita and Falke from Full Metal Panic series.. i'm thinking on some dark color scheme.. which may have some red color.. like what you seen from tsuki's color scheme on his MG GN-X.. so.. i paint the inner frame with Mr.color black steel that mix with Gaia black.. the result is quite nice.. i always been expecting for glossy surface.. like what i saw before the paint dry.. but the paint turn the mat surface after it dry.. so.. should i make it gloss with gloss coat? i'm still thinking on it as i worry that i may spoil the entire paint job and decal because i never coat any painted kit before.. i may buy the gloss coat but have to try before the actual application..





one thing is i didn't paint the entire part on some parts as those area will actually cover by the armor and i'm not planning to make a photo with inner frame show off..




alright.. till here..

the process on this kit may delay till next week as my compressor starting to give me trouble again.. it is in critical condition as the switch is spoil.. then the foundation of the screw had been loosen till i can't even lock one of the main part in the compressor.. have to fix it to continue the process on this kit.. if it die.. it will become my experiment or study on the structure of tiny compressor.. haha.. and i found a alternative tool for it.. the balloon blower which i can only borrow it next week..

June loots part 1

finally i get it.. from the same place i mention that sell RM 80+.. i saw the price had changed.. back to RM 55.. although i feel it still a bit expensive than what i saw before but since this kit have become almost antique.. so hard to find in local.. even online.. so.. without hesitating.. i grab it.. but the regular version still remain at RM 79.. well.. i'm really broke this month.. even the price for regular version may drop soon.. but i'm really don't have anymore bullet to shoot my target..

oh.. almost forgot to mention that i get extra thinner too.. haha.. thought want to buy the 400ml.. RM 12 for 110ml while 400ml only cost RM36.. should get the big one instead of small one.. my wallet doesn't allow me..

damn.. Litt Tak warehouse sales coming soon.. 16 June 2010.. at Litt Tak Sdn Bhd of course.. but i'm really.. BROKE!!!..

MG GN-X WIP 9

back to the business.. the MG GN-X part nine.. preparation for the painting.. just separated back all the parts.. paint on the inner frame and some weapons first..


other part such as armor will remain in the plastic bag.. that is how i keep my the parts so that it won't lose easily..
some picture regarding nub marks.. lazy people work..
notice that i didn't sand the entire surface.. just partial of the surface that near the nub marks.. not a good practice.. it can create uneven surface which will need more surfacer to correct the mistake..
some of the nub marks are hard to be clear off..
so.. using other sand paper with slightly lower grade sand paper to remove it and use higher grade sand paper to smoother the surface..
all done and ready for shower..
