MF VF-25F Armored Messiah WIP 1

here it go.. my next project.. always want to work for this.. been facing the box when i'm studying for my final last sem.. and finally i have time to work on it.. since this is my first time work on MF kit.. not planning on some big stuff.. like re-paint or anything.. just some lining and coloring for tiny details.. so.. let check the boxart..

still feel the boxart for the VF-25S nicer.. but this not bad either..

June loot part 3

additional 2 more HG kit same kit.. HG CGUE..

so.. this is the summary of June loot from BANDAI..

all 1/144 HG:

1 x HGUC Stark Jegan
1 x HG Murasame (Andorew Waldfeld Custom)
3 x HG CGUE (Xist's unit)

total of 5 kits.. and one more additional kit from kotobukiya.. injection kit ARX-7 Arbalest..

BAD NEWS!!!!!

remember my post about my compressor.. the one that i fixed few days ago.. well.. i'm here to announce that it have die.. certified.. die one day after i make the surgery.. zzz.. so.. i have decided to separate the part for this corpse (the dead compressor) to few parts and discover the compressor.. haha.. will make some photos for that later..

so.. because of the compressor is dead.. the painting process of my GN-X stop at the same time.. guess i need to delay the process for the GN-X until i get the new compressor.. so for now.. i will keep all the painted and un-painted parts back into the box..

i never had a job undone before start another job.. argh!!! too bad.. my holiday is limiter.. so i have to start another project before finish this project.. as you can see that my tower is building up in the picture below..

i still got 7 HG.. one MF and..

this PG to build..

usually i use to finish at least one MG or maybe additional one HG in one month.. without painting it.. but since now i use to paint my kit.. i may take one month for a kit.. any grade.. but sometimes MG may take about one month plus..

what kit will i build now? stay tune..

Fixing my compressor

my MG GN-X was delay so long from completion is all due to this compressor.. i think i mention before in some previous post.. the switch and the screw position.. that give me lot of problem.. so now i figured out some solution and fix it.. but too bad.. after fixing these two problem.. another problem arise which will end the life of this pity little compressor..

well.. share some info that how i fix it..

first problem come from the switch.. i guess the the pin inside the switch have loose.. so i try to put some glue to fix it but it seems fail.. so..

Bought some other stuff to make some changes on the wiring.. i don't know what called this tool.. i forget its name.. i just call it the heat pen.. haha.. and the tin.. those material that use to make can..

1 is related to the problem of the switch.. first i cut off the wire that connect in between the switch and the motor.. leave the switch alone and connect the black wire direct to the port of blue wire so that electricity can flow directly without going through the switch.. now.. no more switch that off my compressor.. once i switch on the plug and the compressor will on itself.. but this can be dangerous.. remember not connect any wire or the compressor to any plug to prevent shock by electric while doing this.. the tin and the heat pen is use to seal the connection like glue.. so.. problem for switch fix..

2 and 3 regarding on the screw.. the original screws have removed due to can't provide strong grip which will make motor can't produce enough pressure for the air.. so i change to a longer screw to lock the motor properly.. the length of the screw? see the next picture.. it can be said fix on this problem but the screw will loosen up again due to the movement of the motor.. and the heat that created from the motor is melting the grip for the screw due to the poor quality plastic for this compressor's casing..

well... regarding to the motor and screw.. because i need to lock tight the motor with long screw.. the motor eventually stay contact to the casing.. when the motor work too long.. the heat that created is actually melting the casing and in the same time.. casing which give the grip to the screw will also loosen up.. "the surgery seems successful but the body can't hold long for the organ".. so it will still going to die soon.. zzz

guess i'm really need to spend some money for new compressor soon.. the seller got the stock but i don't have the money for it.. BROKE!!!

Injection Kit ARX-7 Arbalest

alright.. since this kit looks like quite simple to build.. i decided to try get it done before i sleep yesterday.. it took me 2 hours to complete with some WIP's photos..

lets start with the box..



from the box.. some color guide can be learn..
one page of manual?.. two runners?.. and no number on runners.. so have to always refer back to the manual to get the right part.. what a joke.. the runner can use back as stand.. mm.. i like that..
notice anything?.. haha. those legs and tights have empty space in the middle and got no cover on it.. so .. filling in the putty to make it nice is a must.. must learn on putty..
don't underestimate two runners with one page of manual.. this kit does have lot of parts.. and this picture is for the arm unit.. as you can see. it using ball joint for ALL the joints.. and it quite hard to fit in the ball as well.. my finger damn pain when i'm building it..
the body is simple.. enough detail for the head unit as well.. but painting on it will be difficult..
upper part done..
parts for the legs.. looks simple right.. but connecting all ball joint.. you will cry if you don't have a proper tools which i don't know what tool should i use..
TA DA!!!.. the only bad part for the articulation is the tight.. even though it doesn't have any skirt armor but the upper part of the tight is too big and got block by the abdomen.. ..
freeeeeezeee!!!.. note that the palm will come in four types.. the normal palm.. left and right.. than.. additional right arms that holding the shotgun and knife.. so.. basically the left palm is useless.. i was thinking will there any manipulator for this?? XD..
overall.. the kit require lot of work to make it nice.. and those ball joints that expose out can't be cover but there are few things i like this kit is the articulation is awesome.. proportion of all part are accurate.. the design of arbalest.. my favorite.. one last thing need to know about this kit is those joint in between parts are fragile and not come in the right size (connector too big for the hole).. so it will create some seamlines which need glue to fix it..

i will try to share more on this kit when i paint it..
