MG Crossbone X-1 FullCloth WIP 8

core fighter..

when i see this core fighter.. i was like.. how come this core fighter doesn't come with any wing but just long booster.. so weird.. but i like the design where the cockpit reach the right place of the chest and stay horizontally.. not like the core splendor from MG Impulse which face down and turn vertically after it reach the chest.. the cover or door or the glass.. what ever.. what i want to say here is that we still can reach the pilot even the core fighter is in the chest..

alright.. almost done here..
the connector for the core fighter to the booster which the booster will open and look like a 'X' later.. i guess that is why this gundam called crossbone..

painted the hydraulic pump and made some panel line here..
close up.. notice that i didn't assemble it with the thruster yet.. i'm going to paint the thruster..
alright.. core fighter complete withour thrusters.. almost done..

this is what it look like after the core fighter combine with the gundam.. next will on wepaon i guess..

to be continue..

MG Crossbone X-1 FullCloth WIP 7

so.. back to work on this kit.. the crossbone.. this time is the waist unit.. the inner frame doesn't require much part.. basically not much special function to the inner frame of the waist.. but it is different story for the plate armor.. as we can see that the plate armor is required more parts than normal plate armor for other kit.. i mean those two front plate.. it is because it can transform into some kind of hook.. will try to show it when i complete this kit.. the back plate armor was like usual..

the completed plate armor..
the back of the plate armor.. as i see most of the pro modeled fill something extra part which i don't what is that into the back of the waist plate armor.. maybe using pla plate.. can't confirm that.. but this kit is different.. due to the function from the plate.. inner part for the plate armor provided..
add some panel line here eventhough it can't be seen after the complete assembling take place..
thats iy.. complete..

will be continue..

Bakuc Malaysia 2009 November

so.. Bakuc Malaysia 2009 November at Sungei Wang plaza.. i went there for the first day and since i'm not free.. i took almost a week to upload all these photo.. total number of the photos was 124.. and i'm just went to Figure.fm and check out somebody has just post this too.. they said there are some event was held during the second last day which is yesterday and also the price presentation day.. damn.. i was working that day and miss everything.. i thought its just ok for me to skip that day for work since i know i'm not going to win anything.. there is a lot of pro modeler there.. on the last day which is today.. i went back to pick up my "Vanator".. and i saw some of the champion's work.. too bad i don't have any camera except my phone.. have a close up.. i mean close touch too.. for the PG OO Raiser gundam.. alright.. lets check out the pics..

first is the 1/60 repair Exia with led light on its left right eye.. a brilliant idea.. really look like terminator.. haha..
PG astray..

MG kampfer in the hangar.. well gloss painted work.. wonder how they craft crew..

nothing special here.. just a normal MG Exia..
XN raiser..
back of the PG astray i took just now..
the 1/60 astray again..

so.. i guess he only use 1/100 astray gold frame amatsu and 1/100 red frame to mix this up.. easy mod..

an impressive paint job on this zhuge kong ming..

this is one nice MG exia repair with diorama..

molded 1/100 OO gundam with O raiser ..

not sure what this gundam call..but look nice too..

this is another awesome work.. now they have made damage 1/144 OO raiser too.. battle with 1/144 reborn gundam diorama..

the work that next to mine..
"Vanator"..

shu ng hong!!!.. goku shiki.. mod from MG hyakushiki.. i'm not sure this win anot but i'm sure this is one big idea for Bandai to develop a whole new series of Sd which may cal.. "journey to the west" or the gensomaden saiyuki style.. the story of the journey of longevity monk to the west.. with applying chinese god warrior like goku, zhu bagai, three eye warrior, luizhanzhi the lighting strike warrior or something like that.. it will be fun..

this guy win some prize too..

another cool stuff done on this PG strike.. and as i heard some of the people say that the contestan is cheating by using his girlfriend name to get to some advatage category.. not sure how the story goes here.. whatever.. it is awesome work..

the price of the gunpla seeling there is quite attractive as well.. the MG blue frame second revise was selling at RM 166.. the normal price was about rm 185 after conversion from japanese yen..

one of the scene from gundam 00 series episode three.. done by two malay.. awesome work..

the stage for the price presentation ceremony and other event..

another awesome work.. guess what scale is this.. it is a 1/100 scale dendobrium that got damage.. OMG.. check out the detail..

MG GP03 head was pulled out..

the sales place..

didn't buy anything since my salary is not here yet.. but nor worry cause the wareouse sale of the Bandai distributor will start by tomorrow.. still have chance to enjoy the good prize..

MG Crossbone X-1 FullCloth WIP 6

this part is for the legs and feets..

the design for the inner frame for the feets is simple.. not much articulation like the latest MG such as MG Exia.. not much panel line needed since all the part have molded separately..

the inner frame for the feets..

it quite small and look a bit fat like the 1/100 force impulse version..

alright.. now is the legs.. not much detail on the inner frame except one big hydraulic pump.. the tight look quite simple too.. not sliding armor.

i paint the hyraulic pump with the gold color gundam marker and silver color gundam marker. my friend is looking for the silver chrom gundam marker for me actually cause he need one too. too bad that most of the store have no stock for the marker..

the tight joint to the waist.. like i said.. the design is simple.. same to the structure too.. and the joint only required two parts as you can see from the manual.. the 'F4' and the 'F3'.. not like those new seed model which required three parts so the structure not look that fragile. but this is not bad too..

so the inner frame for the leg completed..

there are inner part for the ankle plate too..

another close up on the inner frame and this time.. show the painted hydraulic pump that link to ankle too..

leg completed..

just come back from the BAKUC Malaysia 2009 oon November today.. got some nice photo with Canon EOS 450D with kit lens.. will try to upload it soon.. got almost hundred photo i guess..

to be continue..

Canon EOS 500D

was playing with Canon EOS 500D that day.. i have the demo unit back with me. along with Canon Powershot S90 actually but too lazy to play with the compact.. and i love the color of the EOS 500D so much.. 14 bit color conversion and the 900k ++ resolution LCD screen just show everything i want..

first shots is my MG Crossbone which is halfway done.. i'm just love the depth of field by the SLR.. this effect won't happen much with my IXUS 55..

another one.. closer.. greater effect.. that is how zoom lens work even without large aperture setting.. in fact.. this shot is taken by the standard zoom lens which is the Canon EF-S 18-55 IS..

try some shots with my Vanator.. now i got the right green i want..

another close up shots..

this was using aperture around F9.0 if i'm not remember wrong and using the pops up flash.. the marker that i'm currently using for my MG Crossbone..

then i try some shots on my display shelf.. EXIA..

my favorite Sd Cao Cao which is freedom actually and now equip with extra part from the serpeant which is next to it..

my favorite bling bling as well.. the akatsuki.. it always look good no matter how many times i look at it.. come on Bandai.. when is the MG version come out.. will this be the next variation for MG strike series or the MG strike series has rnd and now replace by MG astray series?

took some shots of all the MG Strike with different striker pack.

the last shot.. which is also my favorite Sd sangokuden series gundam.. the zhuge kong ming..

all the shots was using the Canon EOS 500D.. and ISO at 800 to 1600.. what do you think about the photos.. i'm just love how the camera able to process such pictures even the light in my room is dull lighting and my limited skill and accessory can't help much..

thats all for the post.. will try to get some shots with Canon EOS 1000D again. some of my picture with Martin Yan (one of the famous chef) in some very challenging lighting environment and the camera was use without accessory but only the standard lens and pops up flash..

Canon PowerShot G11

those photo was taken few weeks ago.. i mean those night shots and indoor shots.. the photo of G11 was from google..

this photo was taken at ISO 800, F4.5 and shutter speed at 1/40 second..

this photo was taken with ISO 400, F4.5 and shutter speed of 1/3 second..

and this is the indoor shots wih ISO 400, F2.8 and shutter speed at 1/30 second..

i was impress by those photo when i view it back in my laptop.. even with ISO 800.. the detail of the photo still there and the noise level is so low.. now i know why the Panasonic LX-3 was so special.. even with only ten megapixel.. the reason is simple.. the high sensitivity CCD.. using leeser pixel at the same 1/7 inch CCD but each size of the pixel increased so the each pixel have higher power to absorbed more lighting.. and now Canon making this too with this model and another model called Canon Powershot S90.. that S90 is even more interesting.. come with F2.0.. and with the latest DIGIC 4 processor.. i gotta say the quality of the photo is even closer to SLR photo quality now..

MG Crossbone X-1 FullCloth WIP 5

shoulder unit.. nothing special here.. like the dynames design.. it have some slot for the cloth.. part of that it also can show it inner frame after finish assemble it.. for got to take the picture of showing the inner frame after finish assemble the shoulder..

the shoulder unit.. required four foil stickers.. mm.. why not make it as one part.. zzz..

MG Crossbone X-1 FullCloth WIP 4

arms.. quite flexible actually.. it can do a lot of movement.. the color separation is very nice..

still got all the parts aseemble before joining all of them.. it still got a lot work to go here..

got some detail in the inner frame..

quite special here.. it got two ball joint in between the palms and the arms.. and this is the part that connect two ball joint..

i was wondering what the heck is this.. after i check the manual only know that this is the part that release energy beam shield and also some kind of fire.. it store behind the arms..

arms complete..

MG Crossbone X-1 FullCloth WIP 3

this time.. the head unit.. it just not same as the chest.. it require a lot of parts.. not sure why.. but the mouth area seems like can open and look like it got some 'vampire' teeth with it.. it also got additional part for the mouth area but i'm just don't want to use it..

alright.. the headache part.. i saw Z's blog about the red line.. he rub and redo the lines few times just to make it nice.. luckily.. that remind me that i can use gundam marker to make the red line.. then use the gundam marker eraser to clean those part out of the line with tissue.. but it take some time for this gentle work too..

without the V-fin.. the V-fin for this kit is quite special.. even-though it small and the degree of the 'v' shape is little but after attach it.. it does look nice..almost forgot to make panel line here..

head unit.. complete..

to be continue..

MG Crossbone X-1 FullCloth WIP 2

alright.. start with the chest.. the part require are not much.. the design is pretty simple too.. i left the skull logo first.. cause i'm thinking of painting the skull logo..

i'm having problem with my panel line gundam marker.. so left the line too think.. but i feel it look ok.. i'm just don't know how to take care those gundam marker.. it make me headache every time i use it..

'Y" shape.. when i see this.. i was like.. "is that all for the chest inner frame?".. OMG.. so simple.. and no detail.. i think the chest inner frame design to that simple is because there will be a core fighter slot in later..
ok.. this is the part i miss from the first picture..
almost done.. how does it look like?.. a bike?.. the front part? from OCC?.. hehe.. i was thinking what will they do if they make a bike base on the concept of gunpla like they did for spiderman bike, fire fighter bike for 9/11, helicopter concept and bla bla bla..
thats it.. the chest complete.. the blue color look a bit dull actually.. i was thinking should i apply matte top coat on it.. but the weather here just don't allow me.. raining everyday.. what happen?

to be continue..

I'm Back!!!

alright.. exam over.. making a short post to inform who ever read this.. i'm back.. going to continue on my MG Crossbone.. stay tune..

off for exam

haizz.. really need to study already.. exam coming soon.. have no time to create and upload things here for a while.. until the exam over on 16th of November.. I'M REALLY WANT TO BUILD THE CROSSBONE!!

temporary medicine for gunpla addiction

just for people who have no time to build gunpla but one to get their hand on it.. Sd kit are most preferable.. assemble.. paint.. spend just few hour and you can complete everything.. it also save a lot of space and money.. spend few hundred ringgit and you may collect the whole series..

sd kit's color are normally not complete even with stickers.. it require a lot of work.. so don't think that its easy to complete.. you may feel easy to assemble it.. as for the painting.. sometimes i feel it more difficult then paint those 1/100 scale model kit.. reason is most of the parts that have different color is molded together.. so.. either use hand painting or.. if using spray can or airbrush.. you have paint the paint same part few times and switch the masking tape to the part you don't want to paint..

other scale like 1/144 or 1/100 may hard to paint due to the number of part.. but most of the parts are mold separately.. it just take more time to paint everything..

so.. playing with sd kit also fun..

two new Sd Sangokuden kit.. just got it complete assemble yesterday.. exam is coming soon but i'm still want to build something and enjoy it.. just need few hour to complete it and not affecting my study much.. not like MG which take me few days.. so.. can't touch my MG Crossbone much yet.. since i can't enjoy building an MG during exam period due to the concentration of study affecting the feel.. if you can't enjoy building the gunpla you want.. the outcome may lead to disaster.. XD

MG Crossbone X-1 FullCloth WIP 1

new project.. MG Crossbone.. my 21st birthday present.. will begin to get it done soon.. damn.. exam is coming on Saturday, next Saturday and the following Saturday.. for three subject and need to study for weeks.. can't fully enjoy to build this kit.. i never watch the anime or read the manga of this series before.. just know that the design was quite nice since it is consider small size MG.. so can't say much about this kit..
the box art..

impressive thing is this kit a got a lot of weapon.. traditional weapon..

check out the runners..

skull parts..

special crop out those skull part.. thinking of doing something on it..

to be continue..

MG Wing ver.ka (photo edited)

i re-post the whole thing due to the picture contrast..

Basically.. this kit is almost same like MG Wing zero custom.. just the colour, back pack, and weapon different.. so not much comment on this.. still the same problem.. big gun small palm.. hard to balance..

One issue.. i'm not sure it is good or bad to this kit.. too much decal.. and most of it were very tiny.. the process of applying decals almost longer than assemble this kit.. and just one mistake could spoil your whole piece of the decal.. i learn this lesson long time ago when i first make my MG freedom.. then i bought another MG freedom.. mostly due to the decal problem..

Transformation.. quite simple.. and the shape of Wing gundam ver.ka MA mode.. impressive..
