toy shop in tropicana city mall

alright.. went to Tropicana City Mall for work yesterday.. work at the center court.. and a significant toy shop appear in my eyes.. locate at the top floor.. i can't remember which floor but same floor with the cinema.. so the first it caught my eyes while i'm in front the shop is.. not the 1/1 terminator yet.. but a lot of expensive figure.. they even display 1/160 chogokin macross unit.. some of it.. not dare to take too much photo as the seller over there seems no happy that i take the photo of their figure.. damn stupid.. never mind..

basically this shop sell some figure (those expensive and rare also can found there), transformer, and also lego.. the shop name called BrickBoy Toy.. so i guess mainly the product are more on lego.. if i'm not wrong.. this should be the shop at Times Square KL 7th floor last time and have a brancg in Mid Valley Garden at the top floor too.. too bad they didn't sell any gunpla.. even those gundam figure seems can't find too..


so the thing that make me come back for the photo after i work was this.. the 1/1 scale terminator.. i guess this is the T-700 right.. man.. i never see 1/1 terminater in my life before even the movie have start more than ten years ago.. i'm still remember the first time i watch terminator movie was the Terminator 2 : Judgement Day.. sexy Arny.. and luckily Astro (Malaysia TV broadcaster.. i guess i use the right name.. broadcaster) still airing some of the terminator series like the first terminator movie which i forgot the theme (if i'm not wrong, it should called 'The Terminator').. my favourite terminator? not T-X but.. T-1000.. haha.. from the second movie.. too bad there is a glass that make those reflection hard to see..
mm.. hope i can see a 1/1 scale predator too.. but i do some 1/1 scale alien but build by those screw and gear.. and they don't allow me to take the photo.. the weird thing is that 1/1 scale alien figure was outside some of the apparel shop as decoration.. you can find it at Sungei Wang plaza somewhere in ground floor..

Joe the haze!!! still haven't got time to watch Masked Rider Black RX.. planning to watch the Masker Rider Black first but those quality is too bad and the fashion is too old.. make me feel bore..
wait a minute.. if i'm not wrong.. this should be 1/1 scale Master Yoda too.. bah.. not study about starwar much.. so i don't know the height of Master Yoda but i'm quite interested on Starwars.. at least i watch all six episode and my favourite episode? the third episode which is the latest and the born of Darth Vader..
blue ironman.. this thing is cool.. new movie coming soon.. and one of the ironman in the second movie seems like have the same color with this ironman figure.. no information about this figure.. close to the Mark 3 scale i guess..

my first experience on airbrush set

i can tell you what i did is totally disaster.. luckily i try it on the runner.. most of the potential problem that the seller told me.. it just happen to me.. but don't worry.. its all my fault.. nothing to do with the tools.. just my dumbness cause all the thing happen..

first is the mixture.. i don't have the right tool to measure the amount of the paint.. then.. mess up with the ratio and too think i guess.. cause the paint won't come out from the airbrush.. i was totally stun.. afraid to spoil the airbrush since the needle is so sensitive.. afraid that the paint will spoil it.. so stupid.. i mean me.. then i add on more thinner directly to the airbrush and still nothing come out.. in fact.. all the thinner fill the head and suddenly make a splash.. gosh.. lukily it was on the runner.. finally the paint slowly come out but very little.. and keep on splashing.. i look to the head and accidentally pull the airbrush switch and release the air.. again.. luckily it just ar but not the paint or the thinner.. or else.. i loose my left eye.. then.. decided to end the thing.. put more thinner to clean the airbrush and it works well.. damn it!!! waste almost half an hour for that with a fail experiment.. i've think of try one more time but i'm afraid that i will overheat the compressor so.. just wrap it up..

alright.. lets check out the result.. completely fail!!!!!!!!


this is what happen after i put on the paint and add thinner later.. i guess too much thinner and makes it look transparent because when i repaint the area that not dry.. the thinner will just spray off the paint.. i guess this is what the seller want to tell me that using airbrush.. you can't rush.. the paint must go layer by layer.. yeah.. he is right.. totally different thing from can spray..
this is what happen after all the splash come out.. then the airbrush suddenly workout and i spray on this area.. like cleaning the surface with thinner..

Air Brush set with tiny compressor

new year with only two post until now.. too busy for college assignment and presentation.. final coming soon.. really have to plan my schedule carefully so that i have enough time to post something here..

not planning to make any opening post for new year actually.. since this is the first loot for this year then i will consider this as a opening post of this year..

so this is it.. what i order from mgs2u.com for an airbrush kit with tiny compressor and also the paint, topcoat, thinner, crocodile clip, surfacer, masking tape and paint tray.. order it more than one month ago.. due to no money to collect then i only collect it last few days somewhere in Sunway.. next to LDP (Lebuhraya Damansara Puchong) highway.. it is an apartment.. and they do store a lot of accessory like metal thrusters, water slide decal, different types of supplies.. lets get back to the airbrush and tiny compressor set..

here is the content of the of the set.. will show by the next pictures in detail..
gaia color white, black and red..
gaia color blue, yellow and flat type top coat..
empty bottles and paint tray use for paint mixture..
bottle types for surfacer.. i thought it come in can spray..
the thinners..
alright.. here are some pictures for the tiny compressor..
the switch.. it really tiny.. like what tsukinari said .. the sound is not loud.. the air not that strong but after connect it to airbrush compress it.. the air that release become stronger.. of course the manufacture quality is not that good.. the seller told me if i want to use it for long term then i should purchase larger compressor.. cost about RM 450.. but my wallet just can't afford it yet.. better use some tiny to train first.. one more thing that i have to share here is the compressor can't continue use for long time.. if not using it while mixing the another paint then better off it so that it won't overheat the compressor.. better not on it for more than 30 minutes or else.. overheat the compressor and.. die!!!

alright.. this is the airbrush.. 0.3mm .. need quite a lot of maintenance so that it won't spoil the airbrush.. first.. the needle must be clean every time after using the airbrush and the needle is very thin and easily bend if not carefully handle.. mm.. guys who have this better taking this advise..
the plug for the compressor.. normally China plug is a bit different.. so the seller give me the converter too..

thats all for this set.. will try it for some runners than use it for my MG Blue Frame after i'm able to get the right result.. this is the reason that slow me down for the MG Blue Frame..
