MG GN-X WIP 8

exam coming soon.. will continue on this kit after exam finish at next week.. this may my second last post of the month..

alright.. almost done.. the pre-assemble stage is done here.. the next thing i need to do is sanding (remove nub-marks).. after that.. will use surfacer on all the parts later.. which after exam..

damn.. i forgot to put this parts on for some previous post as this is the parts that cover the inner joint in between shoulder and chest..
left the side binders on the waist.. place the binder on the chest wrongly.. no wonder it look weird.. i was thinking where is my "X" sign for this MS gone..
the beam rifle.. my favorite.. it can switch mode i guess.. rapid fire type for short beam rifle.. and long range fire when it transform into long beam rifle..

shield..

the side binders..

pre-build stage complete.. next up.. the sanding..

to be continue..

anonymous: i think i will just use the sand paper and sand the nub marks away.. don't have any special tool.. but my friend told me those nail polisher can help on that.. but need three stage of sanding..

Suri: hi.. nice to meet you.. ok.. if the nail polisher didn't work.. then there are two option left.. the first option will be quite simple.. a design knife to peel off the nub-marks area then sand it..remember not to peel or sand out of the area of nub marks or end up painting the whole part.. then use gundam marker to cover it but it not look as good as you paint the whole thing.. the second option is sand also peel and sand but this time you may need to sand the entire part.. and then apply surfacer to make sure the surface flat then only paint the entire part.. hope it will help..

suri: just for additional information.. the gold trim of the sinanju is the hardest part.. so.. there are several way to do it.. use the water decal or the stickers that come with.. mine was using the stickers but it look not nice.. if possible.. then use the masking tape technique and paint it.. this option is easy to achieve good result but the preparation on the masking tape before paint will be another hardest part..
